Various productions in a blackbox theatre, working with students to design lighting, sound, and projections. Also acting as technical director and consulting on capital improvements for the space.
Pacifica Christian School
Converting a gym into a full theatre has become a twice-annual project here. The entire space is transformed from a boring high school gymnasium into a theatre. We have created proscenium, thrust and in-the-round configurations. It’s always an interesting challenge to surpass the previous year’s productions.
Harvard-Westlake School
A wide variety of musical theatre, plays and dance productions.
Monte Vista High School
A high school dance show in Northern California. Over 100 students participate each year, and all pieces are choreographed entirely by the students. Many of those choreographers had never worked with a lighting designer before, and learned how to communicate their ideas. The entire show was run via show control.
